Multi-Lobe (4-Lobe) Pump
A multi-lobe (4-lobe) pump uses four-lobed rotors delivering 4 pulses per revolution the smoothest lobe pump flow profile (near-pulsation-free at operating speed), rated for 1–100,000 cP at 0.2–80 m³/h and up to 8 bar differential pressure. Ultra-low shear and minimal pulsation make it the preferred choice for shear-critical biologics, live cultures, cell suspensions, and delicate food emulsions requiring maximum product integrity during transfer.

Four-lobed rotors with precision external timing gears generate four equal displacement pulses per revolution producing near-sinusoidal flow with <±3% pressure variation at rated speed. The very small inter-lobe cavity volume minimises shear energy per displaced unit volume. Close-clearance rotor profiles and ultra-smooth bore (Ra <0.4 µm) maximise volumetric efficiency while maintaining full hygienic cleanability. VFD control from 5–300 RPM matches transfer rate precisely to downstream filling or reactor demand.
